Any of y'all ever bought a gun safe off of the internet? I'm wondering if that's an item people are willing to buy on the net or if it is something that would need to be seen person? Personally I feel I can do enough research on the net to make a decision but curious how others feel.

Ah, following better now.
Personally, I'd not buy off an internet based BUSINESS as it seems the cost goes up for shipping. Even for sites that say "shipping included", it's typically 100-250 dollars more than an equal/same safe that is picked up in person.
However - I think a lot of folks don't have the desire/hand trucks/dollies to pickup, move and place a safe that weighs 250 - 1500lbs (or more in some cases).Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

I don't see a problem with ordering online if the company meets these criteria:
1. They carry the right brand and model. Do your research on safe construction. There are a lot of YouTube videos by pros that can tell you what to be looking for.
2. They have a return policy that minimizes or eliminates the cost of making a return.
3. Either they offer an install service or you have a plan ready for installing the safe yourself.
4. Delivery meets your needs. Do they offer curbside delivery or do they deliver to the room you're keeping the safe in? If they offer curbside only, you need to make sure you have the ability to move XXXlbs of safe from the curb to the room it will be kept.
These assume you are asking about a large safe that weighs a lot. 3 and 4 won't really apply to small safes or quick access safes. Just do your research.
