I would like to point out the the small block chevy is an inherently flawed design just like the Glock but somehow it has managed quite a bit since being introduced in 1955.

I have never owned one before and I decided to give it a whirl and see what all the fuss was about. I picked up a fourth gen 19. I have instantly decided that it's the worst trigger I have ever felt. For you glock guys out there what are the better trigger upgrades for these?

I honestly don't hate Glocks. Like D.J. said, the grip and the trigger kill it for me. Also, I'm not a fan of the bore axis. They're good enough pistols, just not for me.

I really liked the 9mm xds I had years ago, should have never sold it. I really dont understand too much about the machine work that is done on the slide of this one but I though it looked cool. The explanation that I got about the serrations exceeds maximum costa levels.

Used to be mine, and the "OMG it can shoot underwater!" When I was looking for a different CC I looked at all the popular brands and the Glock felt the best. I have a 19, 23 and 30s and have no ragrets.

I keep a Glock 19 nearby a lot of the time since my wife has taken to my P229. I do have a ghost trigger bar in it and that does help quite a bit. The stock sites are also in the trash and have been replaced.

I don't hate Glocks. I have a few, but I'm not about to tell everyone they are the greatest pistols ever. They are damn reliable though and have good capacity for their size and shoot reasonably well with practice.

The best 9mms IMO are the Hi Power, CZ 75 and Sig P226/229. You can literally drill holes with these guys if you have good sights on them. Being all metal is a huge advantage on managing recoil and getting back on target faster.

I'm actually tempted to trade my XDS for a G43, but I'm uncertain. I do like the XDS and haven't shot a 43 yet.
