All the break in video show safes with large areas of access for leverage. Perhaps confined areas will help?

Yeah all the later suggestions are the different hurdles that can be done to any safe. Of course if you're buying a 5-10000 dollar safe, you're probably not going to want to mess with the finish..etc all that much though. All viable options on a 500-2000? dollar safe though. I often wanted to build a cubby for mine basically built into a wall - just for appearance/setup purposes. It would also double to make it more difficult to get out/at.

However, I also realize that thieves DGAF and it'll just be more damage as well. Again though - just want to do it for appearances. Basically make it a permanent fixture. Difficult in my current home - also, given that it was a large safe for 800 dollars it's heavy as hell but not that good looking for interior purposes.

Thats why bolting it down is so important. its much harder to leverage a door standing up.

And I believe thats the prying the door thing is less of a threat than opening it from the side
