Colts rock. I have a fullsize Series 80, love it. For compact, my Glock 23 serves is purpose.

Any reason why you just want a Colt for Concealed carry?

I see. I had a Colt 1991A1 Compact, 3" barrell with Pachmeyer wrap around rubberized grips that I always thought would be a great concealed piece.

Sunnyvale in tx? Id prefer less flashy, so blued would he great. It doesnt have to colt either. Kimber, springfield, para, S&W, Sig all seem to make a 4 to 4 1/4 inch barrels. Ill look this Jeff once i find the pistol. Thanks in advance Yale.

Probably. There are a lot of ranges, and no good gun stores, with the exception of the Ft. Chambers black powder store. I'd bet green money they had something to do with it.
