    what kit did you order?

I assembled with basic hand tools since the upper was already assembled.

A razor blade and maybe a punch set is all you need for the lower

I use a even skinnier punch and a clevis pin vs using the razor blade trick. Slide in the 1/4" clevis pin, line up the holes, drop in the spring and brass detent, push down into the receiver with the punch, rotate the clevis as you take out the punch. Take your take down piano push it in as the clevis cones out the other end.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I literally put together my first lower with a pocket knife, and Allen Wrench for a punch, and a pair of pliers, your don't need much.

A punch and a razor, like crazie said, is all you need.

When driving in the bolt catch pin, using some tape to protect the finish. It really makes it easier.

QFT. I built mine with a screw driver used for glasses repair and pair of needle nose pliers.

              This aint rocket surgery.

Watch some youtubes, put it together and go shooting.

It's a lego set for grown-ups. Youtube it and put it together.

LOL You need the printout to identify all the springs and pins, and then the 2 short Youtube videos that have been posted here many times. Use a razor blade for the one detent spring or it will go flying.

                      These videos:

So, Del-Ton was nice enough to send me two pivot pins, instead of a take down pin.
Where can I buy one locally?

Dude that's a bummer. Good news is you can basically do the entire build other than that one pin

I actually found out that I can still use the second pivot pin if I put it in from the left side, and when I get another take down pin, i can replace it. It'll just look funky with the pivot pin sticking out of the left side.

Ended up at Runner Runner. Went ahead and bought the quick release pins. Haven't replaced the pivot pin yet, only the take down.

And I grabbed a clear mag while i was there because I couldn't tell my inner child no.
