Yea, it's pretty kick ass. I don't know if it still is, but it used to be LEO/Military only - or you had to come with someone that was.

I'll go there for a $40 part and walk out with $600 worth of shit.

I believe Runner Runner in McKinney does. Call them and see. I have an assembled upper and an LPK in my safe waiting on assembly too. I got impatient and stacked a 20" build last week. I suspect I'll do the same to the 16" Black Friday special this week.

When you go to build, here's a few things I learned very quickly. Spread out a towel over your work space, preferably white so that the color of the parts will make them highly visible. The towel will also prevent a spring, detent, etc. from bouncing everywhere when you drop it, and you will drop it. If you don't have the vise block, buy it unless you have someone helping you. You can build one without, but it's infinitely easier with one (or with someone to assist when you need a third hand). Make sure and use the razor blade trick when installing the takedown pins or the detent will (and it still can) go flying.

Have fun with the build and then more fun with mods and upgrades.

You can get into DSG with a CHL

I don't think they should let you in regardless

Correct. It used to just be MIL/LEO.

Well, that place is clearly off the list then. Runner Runner in McKinney like that?

No. I stopped by on the way home today to pick up a gas block and flip up front sight. They are very friendly and helpful there.

I may take you up on that if Runner Runner doesn't fit my needs/wants. Much closer to where I live than DSG.

Looking over their site now. I may stop by there this weekend.

For those familiar with Runner Runner, is their webpage very relevant and updated with their current stock?

Kit is coming in earlier than I expected. Should be here Friday.

Haven't bought a single tool yet to put it together.
