No CLEO signature, only notification, and fingerprints/photos for individuals listed in trusts/corps.

Do we still need the fingerprints / photos if we have an existing trust?

I'm guessing you can still let each individual access all the items registered to the trust. What I'm wondering is if finger prints and photos will have to be submitted for every individual for every purchase. Haven't read through all 200+ pages, but I'd assume so. If that's the case, I guess you get multiple photos and fp cards and stash them away or get in touch with all your trustees...?

Looks like it all begins after 180 days of publishing. So I'm guessing up until then it is business as usual. Then from there on out fp/photos for everyone.

I'm still reading/rereading it right now. Also the comment and response portion has some really good info. But yes, from what I gather, every trustee must have a photo and fp card submitted (or on file I imagine). If we have 180 days till it goes in affect, guess this bumps up my form 1s I had planned.

Is this for future purchases, or is it retroactive on existing forms?

Are you kidding? It's ATF saying they don't agree with anything we (the people) say.

I'm guessing all future purchases. It does mention anticipating an influx of applications and states a 6-8 month processing time until the branch is caught up and the process has worked itself out.

To me that sounds like they expect a huge backlog plus anticipation of working out bugs once it goes into effect.

Same here. I just shoot everyone else's and let them worry about it.

Looks like this cleo notification requires cleo signature on form 5320 for each trustee before sending it to the atf. I can't find a requirement for them to "acknowledge" the notification so it looks liek they can still refuse to sign. Almost looks like this is word play to make us think we won. In reality alot people may have gotten fucked out of nfa items than were before.

I just received my form 4 for my Specwar762. Looks like I am going to drop a few Form 1s in the next couple of months.
