The FW Zoo got around all of the laws by being classified as a day care facility.

Because it doesn't support the Liberal agenda.

Sprouts in Cedar Hill had one immediately above a 30.06 sign.

Big League Dreams (softball complex) in Mansfield has one. It was on the inside, almost hidden; I just happened to notice it as I was paying. It wasn't on the outside gate next with the "no outside food or drink" and "watch out for flying balls" signs. I don't think it was in English and Spanish, either.

I'm just sitting here shaking my head trying to figure out how the fuck the Fort Worth Zoo can legally be classified as a "day care facility"? That's just outright

Back on topic, I haven't open carried (and have no immediate plans to). I did keep an eye out this weekend, for both open carriers and 30.07 signs, but saw neither.
Probably should have articulated a little better. I understand that they can get you for trespassing if they don't want you carrying a firearm in their place of business, but unless you act like an idiot and refuse to leave, you're not going to get an unlawful carry charge like you would walking into a hospital with a firearm, where you are explicitly not allowed to carry as per Texas law, correct?

I saw a couple 30.07 signs out and about as well as a handwritten sign on the front of a gas station, only saw one person OCing and he was a hunter who had a holstered firearm under his jacket, you could barely see it.

Most places likely wouldn't want to go through the hassle of pressing charges and in most places (except liberal cities like san antonio or houston) cops likely don't want to do that either. While legally they could ticket you, arrest you, or press charges at any infraction, I bet they won't. If you are polite about the interaction I bet most of them just give you a verbal warning and go about their business.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

I'm fairly confident that designation will be challenged at some point. They do operate a legitimate day care as well as preschools in the zoo, and as part of that they have access to the entire zoo. However the entire zoo isn't used as a daycare all the time. They should need a designated area with it's own address and facilities to claim daycare status.

I should have worded it better.
Ya, there'll be plenty of idiots doing the "no-sign, it's my right!" ignorance.

Friend of mine texted a 30.07 at the HEB in Burleson.

'Cause seeing a gun on a non-LEO person is scary!!!!!!

Owb with a shirt hanging over it all weekend.

Scenario that wasn't covered in the FAQ:
I'm driving my car with my piece unconcealed (in said car), unholstered.
Perhaps it's slightly concealed and tucked between the seats.

Could that be interpreted as a violation? How?

Other than otherwise prohibited places, if they have valid 30.06 or 30.07 sign and you ignore it, it is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $200. If you fail to depart after being given verbal or written notice (after entering), it is Class A. Both Trespass..
