My dad is wanting to know if there's anywhere in DFW he can go to, to try out handguns. He's wanting to buy one, but want's to know if theirs a play around that does that. I have no idea if there is or not.

i think the Winchester range has some demo guns you can shoot, but they require you shoot their ammo through it.. or at least did years ago when i would go there -

It's been covered, but as mentioned, many ranges rent pistols. FYI, while some may allow you to bring your own ammo for rentals, I know that others specifically state that you must buy your ammo from them. If you're thinking about bringing your own, you might want to confirm with wherever you go.
I have been to the Shootsmart off of 360 in Grand Prairie (Wario's old place) and it's pretty nice. I like the mini-suites they have and you can rapid fire in there. I also like that you can get in 'line' by checking in online first. Less waiting around for a lane to open up.Comment
