    Good times.

He doesn't understand the fundamental principle of gun control -- he who has the gun is in control. Disarming law abiding citizens does nothing but empower criminals and those who have disregard for others.

You could make that point, but we all understand there are too many like us that will not be disarmed. I can't speak for the weak minded who cower to the head muslim in charge...

On the plus side, Congress, currently, in theory, is tilted anti-gun control. Obama would have to EO any actions.

Thank god he's never tried that.

Basically, that statement is indirectly saying people don't give a shit about it.

I dont think confiscation would ever fly and I believe that all who are in favor of GC know that. They will just start a long winded approach to it like they have with getting the vast majority of Americans distracted with BS instead of being informed about real world events. I see it starting with a series of laws meant to over time make buying a gun damn near impossible. Followed up by making them non transferable after death and a slew of other "minor" things to eventually weed the vast majority of them out through buy back programs, "mental health" guidelines for ownership, and snitching incentives for anyone with a 10 round mag they aren't supposed to have by that time.

CA, IMO, is the test bed. Ammo registration, micro-stamping, "smart" guns, etc.
