    PSA Lower - Looks like a great deal. help

    What are the pros and cons of this lower, 129 looks like a steal, I just dont know enough.. And does this have to be shipped to an FFL ? Sorry if these are stupid questions.

    Just found out that the lower receiver is pretty much the only part of an AR that has to go through an FFL. Is this correct? Trying to see if Semper299 will sell me his Calico Jack lower... :-)

    I think I'm finally getting ready to put an ar in 5.56 together. I'm not looking for something that is going to win any internet points or style awards, just something that could be picked up, shot, cleaned, and relied upon to shoot again if needed. The only two things I care about are keeping the barrel to 16", and using

      If you wait a little bit you will find lowers for under $80.

      Anyone remember when Cheaper then dirt in FW had lowers for $49(I think)one afternoon?

                          Saw incomplete lowers at the show this weekend starting at $39.

                          Saw some Spike's Tactical for $89

                          I wound up just getting a Rock River Arms LPK while I was out there.
