  • S&W Model 29-3

I have done some looking around for prices and have found a few, I am a bit surprised but what I have found. Thought I would ask here. What do you think a S&W Model 29-3 .44 mag Serial AHH87xx is worth?

I tried adding photos. Didn't work and I am not really a computer guy

Prices are over the place but expect them to be $550 minimum to close to a grand for a select few.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

      Is it nickel or blued?

barrel length would help. 8 3/8" are on the lower end with the 6" and 4" bringing more. I own a 29-2 nickel in 8 3/8" and I love it.

Nickel or Blued matters. Also having the original box and paperwork is typically advantageous and can make the value climb. The 29-3 dropped the pinned barrel and recessed cylinders which can detract from value for some collectors, but they are still fine guns.

EDIT: Also I'm not familiar with that serial number format. Most start with "N" and have a series of numbers following.

Generally around $800 for one in decent shape. I have a no dash 6" which last time I checked was worth about that.

Thanks Guys, sorry should have added. It is a six inch barrel and the finish is blued. there are no nicks or scratches or ware on it at all.

If it is in the shape you describe I'd say around $700 for it, maybe add $50 or so for a box if its there.
