You ain't kidding about the 553 being the shit. They sold out in the blink of an eye and I had to settle for SBRing a 556 pistol. Oddly enough the 10" 556 shoots better then the full size 556s that I have.
Fun fact about the 556 pistol. Some were all Swiss made but Sig will never own up to that and I have never seen it mentioned anywhere. The receiver for the Swiss made models has a cutout in the bolt carrier rail for the full auto disconnecter and has a different thread size where the barrel screws into the receiver. I looked at 100 + of the 556 pistols before I found another one like the first one that I got that I believe was Swiss made.
