First a little back story- My girlfriend was shooting my sig with a tlr1 mounted on it the other day. Well she was showing her sisters boyfriend (cop) a picture from that day, and he said that pistol was illegal. I wasnt there when he told her that, but I think thats retarded. Why would he think it's illegal? Maybe in your car or what?

if my AR doesnt have the same forend like yours, its the normal round original M16/AR15 looking forend, will this fit on it? or do i need to order the tactical guard to attach this to it first?
