Browning Citori XS Special - value?

Need advice, co-worker has a Browning Citori XS Special 12 Gauge that he mentioned selling yesterday at lunch. He is asking $1600, is that a decent price or not?

I think I paid $1,700 or $1,800 for my Citori Lightning about 4 years ago. Check gun broker.

If the gun is in good shape, it is a smoking deal. That is a 3k gun new.

Like others have said, if its in good condition I would say buy it, should always be able to get your money back out of it if not make a little.
