    gah, ruined. I hate sporterized war rifles, it should be a crime. Sorry to thread crap, they are excellent guns. If it's .303 brit it's okay, if it has been rechambered in .308 (like most were, and this probably was) it would make a great hunting rifle for the price depending on the barrel wear.

        Is it possible to put that thing back to the way it was from the factory? or just not cost effective
