All of my PTR brass looked like the second picture, but with a big dent right at the first corner of the bottleneck. Totally unusable.

I have FMPs, HKs, and EBOs; no PTRs. If every PTR does that to the brass I would not want to own one.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Ok, so reloading the brass is likely not possible... How do these run with steel cased ammo like Wolf, Brown Bear, Tulammo, etc?

That's what they were designed for.

Just ordered the K3P with 12" barrel.

Do I just need to buy a central stock with buttpad or do I need the backplate as well? I assume I will need the stock/buffer screw to attach the stock as well, unless I buy one with the backplate?

The neck, particularly the one on the left, has some pretty decent channeling in it. I suspect even after being run through a good set of dies, it would still concentrate stresses there and fail like CJ's examples. It might reload once or twice if you're lucky. Personally I'd chuck that brass before trying to reload it.

I'd like to point out that even though this brass looks bad, it's a major improvement in the G3's ability to handle commercial brass. Hell, DOHCTR even did a PSA about it on TFB, and CJ has posted his horror story repeatedly across both boards.
