  • Fort Worth Gun Show

I'm going tomorrow, and will probably purchase my first gun(s).

I have my mind pretty much set on an XDM 45.

I'm also going to look at tactical shotguns. Any recommendations?

        Thanks guys.

What about the Mossberg 930 SPX?

        I like the idea of a semi-auto.

Get a gang of 30rd AR mags, since you won't be able to buy them in Colorado.

I actually got to check out a buddy's XDS yesterday. There's no way that would ever be an option for me. I can barely get my first two fingers on the grip. If had to grab it quickly to shoot, I'd be fumbling the shit out of it. The XDM fits a lot better, though.

If you get the extended magazine on the XDM you'll have a lot more to grip.

Haven't seen the 500 but I have the 930 JM gum and it is a fantastic shooter for the money.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

This, or if you want the "cool factor", a Saiga 12 or Keltec KSG...

whoops...that's the one I meant. I remember shooting yours at the last shooting event. I want one so baaaaad but I'm afraid it'll sit in the safe 364 days of the year.

I wouldn't buy a Saiga from a gunshow, they can be hit or miss on what types of ammo they will shoot.

no reason buy a saiga when a vepr has all of the mods out of the box. The only reason to buy a saiga is would be if its a smoking deal, which isnt likely since the prices inflated 3-4 years ago.
