Law makers all think the same way. Their way of doing shit is to pass a new law to get something done when all that is needed is to repeal the old law that is preventing people from doing what they please. There are too many fucking laws on the books already and they do not need to add a new one to the pile.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Surely you must've realized by now that you're not in line with the majority of your peers.

They can't just walk up to a dude and demand to see their license without a reason. They shouldn't be able to demand to see their license just because they're legally carrying, either.

Anybody that open carries should have to at least have a CHL. Anybody here in Texas can go out and buy a gun. Somebody with a CHL had to put forth effort to carry a gun that nobody can see. With society going the way it's going, I'm not sure that I completely agree with open carry. We have a federal government that is not in support of local law enforcement, and a media that does the same. If you have every retard that walks the street having a gun with no regulations, how are LEO's supposed to tell the good from the bad? The only people that don't believe in any requirements for open-carry (like Sleeper) are people that think that if something bad happens around them, they'll save the day.

They have to have some other legal reason to stop you and ask for ID, like a speeding violation. Cops cannot just walk up and harass you for ID without reason right now. This is just more proof cops enjoy abusing their power and get a hard on for abuse.

That's cute, dude. It's kinda sweet that you think the police wont know who the bad guys are with or without a weapon, or that they are here to prevent crime.

Lmao at thinking i have a hero complex. I just think if you want to carry you should be able too. We have all been in chl classes and see the jackassery in there. Taking a class is not going to stop idiots from being idiots.

The background check and higher standard of responsibility a CHL requires is nice. I like that it keeps people like Kory Watkins from being able to legally carry a handgun at all.

You seriously prefer that dork to walk around with a rifle slung over his shoulder while running his mouth vs him having a J frame in his pocket and him not having anything to talk about?

I got news for ya. Not having a chl doesn't prevent someone from carrying concealed. I carried for years before having a chl even became an option in TX and there was not a law that could have been written that would have stopped me from doing so.

Hillary Clinton would prefer that you not have a firearm too.

What legal justification would you want to use to prevent Mr Watkins from having a firearm? Would you say that it was to protect the children?

Yeah, we all understand from a pure "rights" point of view - it ain't right, but some concessions get the steps back in the right direction. Maybe next year the no-CHL requirement can be tackled...etc.

The link is a SIMPLE way to directly contact your rep. It uses your zip to route your email to the proper person. It also gives you the direct line to call if you chose to do so. Asking people to put out the effort to find the number and call their rep is a bit optimistic. Providing them a portal that takes 1 minute to complete is a bit more realistic.

Just keep in mind that that is what you wanted when that newly granted to someone power is used to take away your guns too.

What you feel towards Mr Watkins concerning firearms is EXACTLY the same feeling that the Democrat Party has towards you and everyone that they don't believe that they can control when it comes to most issues ESPECIALLY firearm ownership.
