We are a school recognized organization/club - much like the paintball team. So not really school sponsored, but school affiliated. We do a few events a year: a free CHL class for unt students, intro to shooting classes, more advanced classes, and we shoot pistol matches (mostly GSSF) all over the region.

I'm curious, is dropping 25 seconds huge? I have no point of reference for this time. My past is in cars and road course and auto cross. 25 seconds is an eternity and usually the difference in car classes, not personal bests.

Considering my total score of 119 sec it is a big deal. It takes a score below 80 to win. I'll probably end up around 35th out of around 300 entries.

So I assume accuracy, or lack there of, equates in time penalties? Total time through the course + penalties = final time.

Yep. Three stages - three strings of ten rounds each and four on plate rack. A and B zone hits are no penalty, c zone is +1, D is +3, total miss is +10.

Unfortunately I had a miss on a 25y target.

I was unable to attend because of work all day yesterday and about 3/4 of today. I spent the last 1/4 of today at Strokers instead of the range.
