I've been carrying a Snap ON backpack for several years now. It has a small zippered pocket in the top that holds a compact nicely. My Taurus PT111 Pro & Kahr CW9 fit in there easily when I had them. The large compartment has a padded divider for a Laptop or something you wish to keep separated. The middle compartment has different pockets and pen holders, etc along with a deeper portion. The small front compartment hold a checkbook, small note pad, keys, etc, anything you'd want to access without a lot of digging. It could hold a pistol, spare mags, etc as well I suppose. There's 2 mesh pockets on the sides that hold 20 ounce bottles as well. I've carried this for the last 4 years or so. Shows 2009 on the bag, not sure how long I've actually owned it. It was a gift from my Snap On dealer.
