What about a handgun you can deer hunt with? long slide 10mm witness elite or something."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

If you already have a 30-06 and a 1911, why not try something else?
Try to narrow it down a little I suppose. Do you want to hunt with it? Target practice? General fuck around gun?Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

For a fun gun, I like the 17HMR. I just bought a Savage 93R17FV-SR 17HMR BA RFL TB. Took that stupid factory stock off of it and put a Boyds tacticool on it. Found a nice 3x9 Leopold in my safe......what a blast to shoot! 16" barrel and suppressor ready and light as hell. Plus 17HMR ammo is everywhere. I know, I know the rings are too high. I have a set of Weavers I will switch out that are lower. Have about 600 total in it.

CZ527 in 7.62x39..."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776
