Give people the 42 which is almost what they really want but not quite, then say you have no intentions of putting out a 9mm version. Eventually people get tired of waiting for a 9mm single stack so they end up buying the 42. Then they release the 9mm version and everyone sells the 42 and buy the 9mm. They just sold a bunch of people 2 guns when they only wanted 1.

I would have been really interested in one, but I have a kahr cm9 and a s&w shield 9mm so I think I will probably pass on the glock for a while. If they had come out with one, or a .45, instead of a 380 I would have bought one. Oh well, love my shield so no loss there.
