Ideas for Bushmaster scope

Whatever comes on it. This is my first gun of this type. I know I'm not describing the parts correctly.

You could get an over sized charging handle that will clear your scope better if you do not want to install a riser. I added a BCM gunfighter to my .308 for this reason.

Since it's so easy to add the risers, I'll add them and see what it's like. I can get to the handle ok, it just close to the scope and I have to lay it over and use my right index finger. I'm just using this for hunting pigs and other tasty animals. I don't like my cheek on the metal just to look down the scope. I'm just bored watching this nascar race waiting for Gordon to be wrecked any second.

I had the same risers on my bushmaster 308. I could never get them to sustain a zero. 223 may hold just be careful. I wouldn't let it get any sudden shock.

Those stock risers are pretty crappy. I found good rings are worth the extra money.

It looks like those spacers worked out for you, but if you want to try another handle the medium BCM helps.

Buy a scope mount with a forward cant. I use the rra arms mount. That will fix the charging handle issues. A bigget more tractical charging handle would work as well.
