450 smc

Anyone tested the accuracy of the Double Tap 450 SMC? The ballistics show it's faster than a 10mm when shot through a 5" barrel. I was thinking of picking up a couple of boxes to run through my 1911. Any input is appreciated.

sounds like BS
it's exactly the same as 45 super

the easy way to do it is take 45 super brass which is stronger than 460 rowland brass.
then load it with preferred bullet choice backed by longshot powder
obviously use a fully supported barrel, probably longer than 6". Then a stiff spring, maybe 24lbs and a compensator.
you can run up to nearly 44 mag speeds, almost...
