Okay, now that I have your attention, my son's baseball team is going to raffle off a firearm. This will be new and purchased (anyone on the board willing to sell at cost or a little profit feel free to PM me) from the revenue generated from the tickets. The plan is $5 per ticket, and we'll probably limit the number of tickets to 600 or so max assuming we keep the firearm cost sub $750. The money will be spent to cover the cost of their tournaments throughout the summer.

So, the question is, what firearm would you guys think would make the best raffle? I've asked at work and it's all over the board. Some say a 1911, others say a nice Benelli shotgun, others say an AR. I'm curious what everyone here thinks.

Yep. As far as the process works, the firearm will not ever be titled in the name of anyone except the winner of the raffle. We'll just pay for it at the shop. Casey PM'd me and we're going to do a Henry rifle. I'll post up the details once I have them. That way some of you guys can buy a chance or two if you want to win the rifle. It would be cool if someone on the board won it.

No one associated with the team can legally buy tickets. You can get into RICO shit for that.
