Decided to ditch the glock and buy something fun for a nightstand toy. HK VP9. Casey hooked it up with a good price and fast turnaround. I've shot one, but never got to run it much. I'll report back.

Possibly I'd love to shoot a VP9 in the same range session as the XDm. I know I love the XDm compared to Glocks and I own a couple of those too. There are a lot of other polymer based guns out there I'd rather throw in the trash after I shoot them.

You most definitely have a deal! Let's do it in a couple of weeks. I am out of town this weekend. If you let me shoot the VP9, I will let you shoot anything I have that you might want to try as well. I have lots of 1911s in different cals, an XDm, an XDs, Sig 225 and 227, Glock 10mms, and a CZ. I'm also sure I'm leaving a few things out. I really do want to try a VP9 because H&K is awesome. I love German engineering.

I was finger fu^&ing one of those yesterday and a Sig 320. I tell you it is a good looking gun but the trigger was meh. The Sig had a really smooth light trigger but after owning a P250 I will pass until they get some time on them. I was already committed to buying a G35 for work so my gun fund was already spent dammit.

Oh and that top round my cause a malfunction! I have seen that actually happen just FYI. Almost never got the 9mm round out of there after someone tried to chamber it backwards.
