LOL. That was the problem with mine!

Hence being kept in a drawer with the grocery list, some scissors, and maybe some pens.

I run the FMJ's myself , it will cycle the JHP if you don't limp wrist it.

Mine won't. I cant even chamber the first round in a mag without a jam when using JHP.

Keep in mind there is no slide lock on the P-3AT. I loaded a mag full of JHP and this is what happens chambering the first round.
I *think* these are Speer Gold Dot 90gr rounds, but i don't remember.

I don't have that issue with mine. Just like any thing else they where the first to make such a compact 380. So everyone else learned from their hiccups.

You should see if there's a .380 Golden Saber, Matt.

I will certainly look in to it.

My PF9 had a number of FTE and some feeding issues when I first bought it...but after some minor polishing of the feed ramp, cleaning, and a couple hundred rounds...it is now 100% reliable for the last several hundred rounds I've put thru it and I trust it.

I like mine, FMJ / HPs only. Easy to put in my front pocket with a Uncle Mikes Holster so it don't print so well. Add the pinkie clip extension to make it easier to grip. Or buy the 9 round clip. Took some break in and deburring to really smooth it up to my liking. Point and shoot gun, sights are too short but they don't hang up.

And with that said....I carry my Shield 40 religiously. Sometimes I wish it was smaller and lighter though. I'm fairly certain a compact .380 like the P3-at or LCP would resolve my complaint and provide adequate firepower for MOST situations...maybe not on those occasions that I decide to take down drug houses or stop heavily armed bank robberies...but for situations I'm likely to encounter I think I will be ok with a .380 when I'm not carrying the .40 cal.

I have had zero issues with mine and have put a lot of rounds through it, have had it for about 7 years. I have other carry guns as well, but love the size of the keltec.

Matt, forbid you should have to protect yourself while in the kitchen but......

would you grab the kel tec or the scissors first??

                              god bless.

I have the PF9.....zero issues. Lots of different ammo through it, mostly my own reloads. JHP's never been a problem either.
