I did an entire AK74 with that. It laid down very well and looks good but takes forever to fully cure. With no oven full cure time is one month. Directions say you can use it after a week but I think it was still too soft. Im not completely happy with it. Not as durable as I thought. Maybe I didn't do it right but I cleaned it very well with a wire brush followed by brake clean but what do you expect for $30. You are in Mesquite. If you want to come by and check it out send me a PM.

      brake clean leaves a residue.

        Acetone is your friend.

If you want spray electrical contact cleaner leaves no residue.

Maybe something like mass airflow sensor cleaner might do the trick?

carb cleaner, or just rubbing alcohol.

I have a shitload of both. I just can't decide if I want to do the whole gone or just the frame. once you activate the hardener in the can you only have 48 hours to use the whole can. or you got to trash it.

I get brake cleaner at Auto zone that dries without a residue and I final wipe with acetone just in case.

Fir curing, see my homemade heater box. Gets parts to 200°. I will bake stuff for 20-30 minutes and let it cool down just enough to handle it then apply next layer. The warmth in the part helps flash what you are putting down. Just be careful when you pull it out hot cause the paint is slightly soft. Once it cools to room temp though it is completely workable.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.
