Now Colt makes a fine gun, but I believe HK makes the finest modern weapons on the planet. All Colt makes are 1911s, single action armys, and ar15s. Hk makes fancy new stuff and is a completely different type of company.

I like Sig, but lately it seems like they have had some serious quality issues. My favorite example is the latest ATF test where they tested a bunch of new pistols as potential service weapons and the sig took a colossal dump. Sigs response-

"The test placed too much emphasis on reliability."

I go with a friend to a private range. But also go to Alpine and Gibson's.

I'll bet that thing's got a kick to it. A friend of mine has a USP compact in 9mm, and a full frame one in 45. The full frame one kicks less, obviously, but I was REALLY surprised at how hard the compact kicked only being a 9mm.
