Figured some of the python fans might take interest in this. Gun stories on the outdoor channel today will be about the Python. http://www.downrange.tv/blog/gun-stories-online-colt-python/30549/
http://www.chuckhawks.com/colt_python_revolvers.htm I always liked this summary as it covers some little known intricacies of the Python.

It was only a .22 LR but GD that was the smoothest revolver trigger I've ever had a chance to shoot. I'm certain the bigger caliber DW's are no different and they deserve their hype as well. It's made my list of guns I would love to own now.

Jose, I've never shot one, but I did finger fuck one a little one day, and It was a marked difference in craftsmanship feel vs. my smiths.
I want one, but the list of guns that I want only to never/rarely fire is lengthy, so saying I want one doesn't speak to much
