  • .17 Hmr

Been thinking about selling my 10/22 mag and getting a .17 hmr. Who has what and how do you like it.

I've shot a savage and liked it, very accurate.

Small game out to 250 yds. Something between my 22 and 22 mag and my 22-250.Looking at CZ/Savage/Ruger.If I get enough out of my 10/22, maybe a Browning of Anschutz .

How does a 17hmr compare to .22lr? And what are the details on that 10/22 you might want to sell?

            You can't really compare a .22lr to a .17.

Let me know how much you want for the 10/22 Mag.

I've had Savage and Marlin. Dad has Rugers...

I prefer the Savages myself. I had a 93R17BVSS. Very accurate!

Why not? You can compare other things like apple juice/orange juice. Xbox/PlayStation. Ford/chevy. Cod/battlefield.

It has a volquartsen trigger, carbon fiber barrel and hogue stock and 3x9x40 leupold.I have all factory parts as well. Most are going for a 1k or more stock. So I am not sure on price.

Sounds badass...but I would be out at 1k. Way outta my price range.

I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Price is driven by demand, dude. They never sold anywhere near as many as regular 10/22's, and they're out of production, unless you want to give Volquartsen or Magnum Research $1,500+.

I have an Excel Arms .17HMR. Bad ass gun. Extremely accurate out to 100 yards. Drops off fairly rapidly at the 250yd mark. Shoots a 17gr bullet 2374fps. In the pic, it is the one on the top.

Balistic data----------- One of the perks----ammo is plentiful for it.

The .17 HRM or Hornady Magnum Rimfire is a tiny varmint round that is so small that it is said to explode on contact sparing the surrounding livestock. This makes it a great farm rifle, and an even better fun rifle. This mini bullet is lightweight and because of this is easily effected by the external forces of nature.
