CMMG Mk47 “Mutant” AR-15 in 7.62×39

So has anybody heard of this yet? I'll be on the market for a new rifle in a couple of weeks (Christmas present to myself) and had my mind set on an AR, but this has me thinking about changing my thinking.

I wouldn't buy one. I would either get an AR in 556, an AK47, or possibly and AR in 300blk. New gun means parts may be hard to get and expensive. With the three options I gave parts are plentiful and reasonably priced. Just my thoughts.

If you want a gun that fires 7.62x39 and is mag fed, why not just buy an AK47? They work fine and I see no reason to reinvent the wheel.

I have a SOTA upper in 762x39 , works perfect
just buy the right mags that review good .
I would like one that uses AK mags but most were stupid expensive and I could just buy more mags instead , that I might add are typically lighter any way.
So I would suggest just go that route, most of the mag kinks have been worked out over the years.
Worst case scenario is I've seen some bolt lugs shear and there is even a new one that is very improved that you could use instead if that ever occurs. Seems to me the MK47 mutant thing could still have that problem.
