I know of les bear. But had no idea of the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into its guns. I will get one of these 1911's eventually.

Les Bear are nice but can be very finicky and take a lot of break in. I'd rather have a Nighthawk.

Custom 1911s are often too tight. And when they are too tight they don't perform as Sam Colt and John Browning intended. Sure you can get a more accurate 1911, but reliability becomes an issue. This is why the best 1911 guys get big money. Getting one super accurate and reliable is a major balancing act.

If I had money oozing out of my pockets and all the firearms I wanted already, I might spring for a Wilson one day, but it will be one of my final purchases. I'd rather have three to five Colts instead or a three of Dan Wesson's.
