Is that a decent deal though? I will end up reloading, I just don't want to start off reloading it until I gain more experience with the round. If it matters it's a 7.5" 1/7 twist supressed.

I can't really comment, I haven't bought ammo in years. I load that exact round for $6.50 per 50.

I need to get on board with that setup!

The rounds are pricey but about on par with what i pay for 30.06 and a big reason I went the .300 route is for hunting

You can get the 220gr UMC load for $15-$20/20, but that's as cheap as it gets.

its because the bullets are .40-.50/each. Hard to make that cheap. But I'm working on it.

I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Any ideas here. I have a 7.5" barrel, with an AAC 7.62sd. With the 7" rail installed it will not allow the can to seat fully on the flash hider, and the can doesn't fit inside the rail. I would like to try and make this work without ordering a new rail or barrel. That being said can I use a stackable muzzle washer, or should I shorten the handguard a 1/2"?

Chuck it up in a lathe, and cut the end off until it fits.

The 762-SD sits about a guarter inch from the back surface of the flash higher when fully seated so you only option is going to be to cut the handguard. It looks like you may even have to come as far back as that first set of threaded holes.

I worry that I may have to deal with the same issue when mine shows up.

Is your muzzle device the deep or standard socket type?

Not sure if it's the deep or standard. Package doesn't say, it's the AAC blackout 51t flash hider.

The standard for suppressors is 1.5" OD, so any rail worth it's salt should have a 1.6" ID

51t sucks for putting inside rails

The rail is a Midwest industries with an OD of 1.5. I didn't plan on it going in the rail due to the 51t. And it's the deep socket FH.

Grab a standard and see where it gets you.
