I personally prefer the FN line, but your looking at a higher price for the gun and extra mags are higher as well.

That's pretty good. I have a FNP-9 and it fits my hand really well, love shooting it.

Those mags tho, like 30-40$ each.

Only thing is to get it to sit that far back i had to install it without a rail adapter in the inside, otherwise it sits about an 1/8" further forward, I know that doesn't sound like much but it feels like it. It feels sturdy, think it would be a problem?

Awesome gun, and great price you got it for. I have both, and the FNS is my personal favorite shooter of the two. Not the M&P is bad, just like the FNS more. Good luck with yours!

I bought a M&P 9 couple months ago and one of my favorite guns to shoot. I actually like it so much I just bought the M&P 22 to match it and have some training and plinking fun.
