    Went to Eagle Gun Range this past Sunday

    Had a good time for my friend's birthday. The range was pretty nice, but as it was indoor, shooting the rifles was not as fun as shooting the few pistols we had. All the range employees were very nice and very informative, not pushy and condescending like some other ranges I have been to. I don't have any guns, but he and his other friend who came did, and it was a good time. I wanted to take more pictures but didn't get a chance as I was too busy shooting. My shoulder has been a bit sore after all that 8mm surplus ammunition, but nothing really worth complaining about. List of things we shot:

    Mauser Model 48, bolt action 8 mm
    Egyptian Hakim 8 mm semi-automatic
    Saiga .223
    Winchester lever-action 30-30
    Krag 30-40
    Ruger Single 6 .22
    Smith & Wesson SD 9 mm
    Sig P229 .40
    FN SCAR 16S (.223) <--- my favorite of the day

    Just thought I would share my good time. All of the guns were very very accurate (obviously, because it was only out to 25 yards), except for the Saiga. That gun sucks.

      It's a nice facility. I take the wife up there every now and then on $5 Tuesdays.

                              ah okay, it wasn't converted then. Yeah they are kinda lame in that configuration. They don't shoot babies or seals.
