Pretty much anything recent has been an LED option right? I know Surefire just came out recently with an upgrade X300 Ultra that has a slightly different mounting system (supposed to be more secure) and more lumens.

Love it, love it, love it. I just pulled it out, took the cover off and it is as bright as the day I bought it, haven't had it out in a few months. The triangle idea is genius and love the quick target acquisition or precision use of the tip. If you are thinking of getting one and want to try it out let me know.

Still makes my other one and the Surefire(non led) look dull. For the money I dig it. There is such a thing as too bright indoors fellas. The HL is almost just that.
More out of curiosity than anything. I didn't realize that this sight was issued to the IDF for use on their rifles. Also saw that Trijicon has something similar. How well does it work in low light conditions?

Initially I was leaning towards a Primary Arms red dot but saw an EOTech in the classifieds here for sale that looks to be a really good deal. I've always wanted one and I like the reticle it has. But I'm still intrigued by the M21 which is why I was asking.

The only complaint I ever read on it was if you were in a dark room and trying to shoot into a snow packed area. I think I am good there! Plus the fix is a filter for the optic that it comes with. Supposed to be good fro 10+ years minimum. They use some kind of radioactive material in it or something. I haven't read up on it in a while. Low light is fabulous and of course I have the light.

Also I have seen more than one Aim Point Patrol riffle get bumped and come out of zero. The H1 not some much and that was my other choice but I like to be different and try new things. I stayed away from EOtec due to battery life but I do like their combo set ups with the 4x on it also. I think I can do that with mine to also.

Good insight and info. I'm guessing it uses tritium to help boost viewing the reticle at night/low light conditions similar to what many companies use for their night sights.

Was the issue with the Aimpoint's getting out of zero due to the scope or the mount?? There's a pretty good deal on an EOTech here in the Classifieds that I'm trying to get but it will likely be sold by the time I get the funds together next week

Honestly I did not dig that far into it. It is a big optic and could probably get hit hard enough to move it. Read that a few times also but seeing it first hand confirmed my doubts.
