I hate screwing with batteries and when the SHTF where will you find them. I did lots and lots of research and decided on this little jewel. After seeing a couple of Aimpoint Patrols come out of zero I said screw it, and well I just like to be different. I was going to Aimpoint Micro it but said F it and bought this one. Hell if I hate it I will Micro next. Going to spend some time at the range tomorrow to abuse it. Oh and a side note the new TLR-1's HL are bad ass. My buddy has a Surefire 300x and has now ordered a TLR for his riffle. Blows my standard TLR-1 out of the water. Yes I get it they need batteries. HA

Like a champ today. It was extremely visible and I used the tip of the triangle for precision shooting. It was almost dialed in when I put it on. One click up and one click to the right. My compadres and one of their old ladies loved it.
Observations today and random thoughts. I saw my Glock 42 get limp wristed and misfire every round. Grabbed it and blew through 40 or 50 with not a hitch. Maybe cheap ammo and female shooter was the issue but made me nervous at first. She picked up my RS290 and shot it like a champ so no telling, and she was a hell of a shot. It is a Sig though! Shot a suppressed 9mm Glock, with a rifle kit, and silencer. That damn thing was like shooting a star out of the target at the fair. It did put a little warm gas in my eye though.Whos your Daddy?

I settled for the regular tlr1 and I'm kinda upset that I did. WTMF I was like why is my thread at the top.
Love it, love it, love it. I just pulled it out, took the cover off and it is as bright as the day I bought it, haven't had it out in a few months. The triangle idea is genius and love the quick target acquisition or precision use of the tip. If you are thinking of getting one and want to try it out let me know.

Still makes my other one and the Surefire(non led) look dull. For the money I dig it. There is such a thing as too bright indoors fellas. The HL is almost just that.Whos your Daddy?
