Ruger P94 .40 for Kahr CW40 ?

Have a Ruger P94, not really a fan, took it on trade and just tossed it on THF and TGT and gotten some offers, one interesting one was a guy that has a Kahr CW40 with 2 mags.

Only thing I don't like is it is a 6+1, where the Ruger is 10+1...equal value?

TRADE! I love everything about my CW40 except the sights. And as far as the ruger goes, I would not miss that pistol at all.

I've been told Kahr makes great pistols - and I'm pretty sure they are fairly pricey as well. The only one I ever had an opportunity to see was Baron's - and it was jamming due to some burrs on the chamber face... it had an extremely tight lockup - which really made me wonder how reliable it would be if it got dirty. We cleaned it up and to my knowledge it's been fine.

The Kahr would be a good trade. I would do it. They make great carry guns. I have a CW9 and all though it only comes out to the range every so often and only gets a magazine or two put through it I have never had any problems with it. It is a VERY tight gun.

Remember though the Kahrs and mostly the CW line are carry style guns, slim, light , DOA, heavy triggers, rugged low and plain jane sights. They have very few frills or bells and whistles.

Glad to hear it's been good and we got it fixed. I hate glocks (have I ever mentioned that?) - they are so damn uncomfortable to shoot. They just have a really imbalanced weight. All the heft is in the cycling mass, and you're left holding onto a piece of plastic while the weight slams your wrist around, bleh. When I fire a glock it bothers my wrist more than a .44 magnum. I own a G17 and I hate that damn thing. The only reason I have it is to let people shoot it and concur with my hatred.

I've never shot a Ruger, but Baron let me put some rounds thru his Kahr. Cool little pistol!

Is this going to be for concealed carry or a night stand gun? Night stand I'd keep the Ruger if you are happy with the trigger and everything. Concealed carry I'd go with the Kahr.
