Anyone here coated a wheel gun before? How did it turn out? Thinking of doing it.

Looks, i dunno. I'll polish it up and see how shiny i can get it first. Then I'll get bored and think about coating it..

I'm really digging this revolver... only flaw is that rear sight has a flat spot. Previous owner is a fellow officer of mine. He was in Vietnam as a green beret. Then he went to work for the gubment in south america as a plain clothes op. He carried a browning hipower and later bought this in the mid 80s. Thought that pretty cool. Boy does that guy have some stories...

I would love to buy him a scotch and listen. We had a pilot at AA that was with Seal Team 2 under 'Dick' Marcinko. Billy was the little guy that could fly anything in his book. He retired at 65 from AA and now is back in the middle east with a private contractor flying. He is 69 and a certified bad ass. He had some stories that would make the hair on your neck stand up! He retired from AA and flies for Presidential Airways in Amman, Jordan, Afghanistan.

Prior to AA he did this for 16 years in the Navy. A true American Hero!

Retired Jun 1986 USN. Last assignment SEAL Team SIX. Flight Department Lead Pilot.
