All the weight, lack of ergonomics, and inaccuracy of a Thompson but with none of the fun!

Seriously, avoid closed bolt 16" barreled Thompson lookalikes.

Yale is right. The absolute best .45acp carbine, or hell, the absolute best pistol caliber carbine out there is the Kriss Vector.

If an MP5 guy tells you that something other than an MP5 is the best PCC, then that shit is good.

A Marlin Camp .45 would be pretty sweet, too.

Don't bother. They're reliable after a ton of work put into them.

Good to know. I'll put that idea to rest then.

Well that dream is shattered.... Okay so do I make the wife get me a Colt 1911 in 38 super, 45 ACP or a Delta in 10 mm?

Then I probably need to go to Jackson Armory or take Capps out to lunch one day and talk about getting a full auto someday in the next year or so. It looks like Mac 10s or an M2 carbine would be sort of affordable.

45acp man. 38super is arguably obsolete and it is also quite expensive. 10mm is also cool, but again it is expensive and recoil is harsh (not an issue for you, but maybe your wife).

Would absolutely be up for lunch too. There are still a few MG deals out there if you look hard enough. But yes, the MAC 10 is the best entry level MG as people make slowfire uppers now, as well as a .223/5.56 upper that takes AR15 mags!
