  • gun show this weekend?

Curious if there is one this weekend. What site are y'all using to check for shows? Wanna go look for that damn .357 lever gun at a show. Used or new, idc.

August 2nd is the next big Market Hall one, but it doesn't look like anything is coming up this weekend.

This is a good site for checking when there are gun shows:

Never been to the one in Irving, however it is ran by the same company that does Ft. Worth and both Mesquite shows. $9 (ridiculous) to get in and the last time I was at the new convention center they charged for parking.

I'm out on gun shows. Charging me to get in while charging vendors to set up in there, no deals to be had (especially factoring in the entry as a premium), parking BS and crowds of camo-wearing fuck tards.

              No fucking thank you.

But you can get a knife sharpened for $3, snag some beef jerky, and laugh at the absurd firearm prices.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

The old timer who sharpens knives is the only thing worth while. There are a lot of the folks who are there, including reloaders that can be visited without going to the gun show.

A couple of weeks ago I was coming back from SWFA and decided to stop in an hour before the show closed on Sunday. I just needed some 45 reloads and to see if there was something that I couldn't live without. They still wanted to charge admission but would only charge me $7...awesome discount. After this, I decided that I was no longer going to give them any of my money.

Went to it today. Free parking. I swore there was more clothing and leather crap then actual guns. Lever guns and ww2 rifles were almost nonexistent. .. fail.

So if any of y'all got a 357/38 OR 45LC lever gun, let me know.

Cleburne has a gun show this weekend. As stated above I for the most part am no longer going to any gun show. Five to ten dollars for parking plus another eight to ten dollars for admittance. Even if I can find 22LR ammo for 5 dollars a box when you factor in the 20 dollars to get in. It comes out to .50 cents a round.

You have to pay to park? I've never been to a show where I had to pay to park.

I don't pay to park... but I actually did get a good deal on a gun last time I went to one. I had to search long and hard to find said deal, but it was exactly what I was looking for at the right price.
