Find one in stock and buy it. Just don't hugely overpay.

The one I want is never in stock in store, and out of stock on line. Tempted by the 23" barrel one but not sure I can stuff it in my safe.

You can always cut the barrel down, I did it with one of my Saiga's.

I want to say like 1299.00 or something. Basic Saigas went for 799.00 but by the time you converted them and made them reliable you were close to that number. Shit I cannot remember now.

The Saiga 12's had finally gotten down to under $700. Recently Classic, or maybe it was centerfire, had them for around $630 I believe.

Molot is on the list of bans? I know Molot, the maker of VEPR rifles, is also a holding of Kalashnikov Concern. - Kind of un-clear to me. What do you guys think?

Everything I am reading says no more Vepr. If KC has any kind of financial interests in a company they got banned, oversimplified explanation maybe?

As I am sure you are aware, the latest round of US sanctions targeting the Russian defense industry included Concern Kalashnikov and any companies Concern Kalashnikov has business interests in.In 2010 civilian exports to the USA accounted for approximately 30% of Kalashnikov’s sales.I would not be surprised if, as of last week, the number was above 50% of total sales.
