I could have had 3 yesterday in San Angelo... but all I had was my .45 XDs... and they were on a soccer field in the city limits with a neighborhood across the street.

I think the police and/or game warden would have had an issue with that.

They are hard into their winter zones here. Like taking candy from a baby even with a bow. We have a late antlerless season going on now but i dont like what i see as far as deer numbers.

Im hoping the state cuts tags next season.

Well we made the wrong choice on what stand to get in this morning a big 8 was at the other feeder. I did get a black buck antelope on camera

In case anyone was interested in the terminal performance of the Amax on game, here is a picture of the damage. It went through and through without causing major damage at all.

I dont think hornady recommends the a max being used as a hunting round, But it looks like it worked anyway.

The less everything is turned to jello the better imho.

They used to but don't give a reason for the change. I have found they act extremely similar to the Nosler Ballistic Tip, stay off heavy bone and don't push them to fast you'll be fine.

I got my Nemesis that i found dead back from the euro guy today. Turned out good. He uses the beatles. I really wish i could have shot this guy but old age did him in.
