Im looking for a good red dot for my ar223 under lets say 250. Im looking so far at the lucid and the vortex strike fire. What are pros and cons and what would yall get. Use the gun for plinking and hog hunting mostly. Magification might be cool but wouldnt care if it didnt have it, seems like most have screw in 2x magnifiers I can buy, how are those?

I have several primary arms dots. Basically an aimpoint clone. I love them. Dot is very clear in daytime, holds zero, and they have several models and mounts to choose from. All their dots are around $100, but don't let the price fool you. They are great dots. Their store is just outside Houston.
