Got this bad boy not too long ago, Benchmade StrykerII

And you can't go wrong with a cold steel recon1, I love it. It's incredibly sharp out the box and is tough as hell.

I'm digging my spyderco endura 4 wave. I just wish it was partially serrated.

You know I always though Spydercos were kind of cheapy type knives but been doing research on them lately and they arent that bad. If I needed a new folder I would consider going that route. Also been looking at the Kershaw Burr Black.

I went to the new Gander mountain yesterday in Lake Worth, (grand opening) and they had Gerber Air Ranger for 19.99 (30 on Amazon). Looked like a pretty decent folder, was really tempted to get one as a back up.

Well I managed to lose mine this week. Any suggestions on a small (under 3" blade, preferably closer to 2") auto opener with a clip that carries it tip up. I've been thinking about getting the Benchmade minipresidio, but would prefer something smaller.

This is what I carry. It is not an auto opener, but it is assisted and has a 2" blade. I have been very happy with it and would buy another if I lost this one.
They make a longer version as well.

I love my Benchmades. I'll probably pony up for nicer stuff eventually, but they've served me well for now.

The one I lost was a cheaper sog assist called the flash, really wanting a auto this time.

You can legally have assisted opening knives now right?
