Daily carry gun care?

So..speaking of shields...I assume we're talking S&W M&P 9mm or 40cal.
Been looking at the 40 cal as a replacement for my 9mm Keltec....I've heard a few stories about the safety magically "setting itself to safe" when holstered...creating a dangerous issue for someone needing a CCW suddenly. Anyone here with a Shield experienced this?

Yes M&P shield 9 mm. About 600 rounds through it so far perfect no problems.
As far as to safety but you have to intentionally press up on it firmly. For it to engage or disengage. I'm using a Cooks IWB talk about Kydex holster that absolutely love. And I've yet to experience any of these issues. http://www.cooksholsters.com/
