Incredibly light receiver is 35% lighter than standard aluminum thanks to a proprietary “Tactical” alloy and redesigned contours that shave every last bit of excess weight without sacrificing strength and durability. Actually weighs less than some polymer receivers, yet contains no plastic or carbon fiber - only metal. Integral, fixed triggerguard adds structural strength. Hammer and trigger pin holes have extended bearing surfaces to accept extra-long pins for strength. Accepts mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver parts; requires extra-long hammer and trigger pins, included.
