The third position is the most expensive. The forth is free.

I am working on hiding the $1,000 I want for two Mega monolithic uppers or two Seekens Precision uppers/handguards and just sell two of the regular uppers I have already.
Why the 18" barrel? My understanding is that the 6.8 was built around a 16" barrel or a little shorter.
Bison Armory has 18" barrels and uppers. I used one of their 16" uppers for my FiL's rifle and was pretty impressed with it. All of the research I did when choosing the 6.8 agreed with Dee, that the round is designed for the 16" barrel and that anything longer is mostly adding weight instead of velocity. I would buy another one of their uppers in a heartbeat if I had a use for a 6.8.
My Bravo Company barrels arrived and look great. I hit the gun show today and picked up 2 Vltor billet uppers and 2 CMC 3.5lb triggers. Ordered 2 14" Daniel Defense Lite rails from midway that are on a super sale right now @$280 each. Just need 2 good BCGs.

Should have a few parts to trade soon also.
What's the story on the CMC triggers? How do they compare to a stock trigger?

Self contained drop in unit. 3.5lb pull. Smooth break with no creep or grit. Made right here in Ft Worth. He had a few assembled lowers designed to test triggers in (no mag well or buffer tube opening etc). The CMC was noticeably better than a POP drop in trigger at a booth down from his.
He had a sweet 2 stage to tryout but didn't have any to sell yet....taking pre orders. The 2 stage was the business. I have his card and may order 1 or 2 also.

Good info, I'll have to check them out.
Btw, my old man hasn't gotten back to me on the revolver. He's been in the middle of moving.
